Provenance & Product:

A forest in the Chiapas region of Mexico where the root bark of Mimosa Hostilis grows. Our Mimosa Hostilis Bark is from the Chiapas region of Mexico. There a local team works to harvest the root bark. Therefore, we have several contractors dedicated to delivering a premium quality product. These contractors are constantly harvesting and packing fresh product to us each week. The soil contains no additional nutrients since Mimosa occurs naturally in this region. Comparatively, this makes our product the best available on the market. We do not include the trunk in our product and accordingly only believe in using the inner root bark. We harvest all products within two weeks before sending out each shipment. First, we strip the Mimosa Hostilis root bark from the roots of 15 to 20-year-old trees. Then it drys in the sun for over a week. Next, it is processed through the mill. Lastly, the shredded root bark is then tested for quality and finally bagged for shipping
